I held various positions within The Federated Group, a company comprised of multiple business divisions that provide electronic payment processing and related business solutions for small to midsize businesses within the U.S. and Canada. The company offers solutions that include credit and debit card processing, gift and loyalty card programs, check approval services, and ISO / Agent partner portals. Sr. V.P. of Sales June 2010 - May 2012 During this time I worked for OnePay, the wholesale division of The Federated Group that supporeted sub-ISOs and resellers. We also worked with lenders and loan brokers in the merchant cash advance industry. Instead of a lender automatically debiting a borrower’s bank account for a loan payment, we offered a service to lenders that would hold a specified percentage of the borrower’s daily credit card transactions and direct that held amount back to the lender so that it could be applied to the borrower’s loan balance. Director of Business Development June 2008 - June 2010 During this time I worked for North American Business Solutions, the division of The Federated Group responsible for merchant acquisition in Canada. The focus here was more on recruiting individual contributors, or Sales Agents, rather than ISOs and larger resellers. We recruited and trained “feet-on-the-street” teams to cold call business and acquire their credit card processing services. National Sales Recruiter & Manager March 2007 - June 2008 During this time I worked for FPS, the division of The Federated Group responsible for merchant acquisition in the USA and was the parallel to MSI Canada. Again, we recruited and trained “feet-on-the-street” teams to cold call business.
